Today, Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, will travel to Orlando, in the United States, to participate in the 2023 Annual Symposium of the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO) . The ICPHSO is the forum that brings together international stakeholders to advance consumer product safety on a global basis and to promote safer consumer products around the world. This year will mark the 30th anniversary since the creation of the ICPHSO.
On Thursday, 23 February, Commissioner Reynders will participate in a roundtable discussion with members of the European Florida consular general network, as well as addressing the European-American Chamber of Commerce on the European Commission’s work on due diligence and data protection. In the afternoon, he will give a lecture to students at the University of Miami Law School about the EU’s action to promote fundamental rights in policy-making, inside and outside of the EU.
