Denis Choumert, Vice President of the European Shippers’ Council (ESC) and Global Shippers’ Alliance Chairman, is attending the first-ever Global Supply Chain Forum, taking place from May 21 to 24, 2024, in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in partnership with the Government of Barbados, this high-profile event aims to confront the most pressing challenges facing global supply chains today. Topics ranging from financing to climate change adaptation will be addressed, with a focus on fostering sustainable development.

Choumert’s intervention on Thursday, May 23, will speak in the panel named “strengthening service quality and connectivity in marine transport,” and his insights promise to offer strategic solutions to enhance the efficiency and resilience of maritime logistics networks.
